With only weeks to go before election day, many Americans are wondering if the nation can ever find a way to bridge the current political divide. Some even question whether the two-party system is still viable. Others see the partisanship in Washington and Raleigh as part of a global phenomenon.
At LAF’s Oct. 24th Critical Issues event, Western Carolina University Political Science Professor Chris Cooper and Asheville Citizen-Times Columnist John Boyle will debate those and other issues and try to answer your questions. We hope you can join us.
TIME: 11:45am – 1:15pm (food service begins at 11:45; program begins at 12:15)
LOCATION: The Country Club of Asheville. (Click link for map)
COST is $25 for LAF members, $30 for all others, payable at the door. Check or cash only.
Please RSVP by Friday, October 19th to Nancy Williams at 828-250-2353 or firstname.lastname@example.org (email preferred), and specify which event you will be attending.
