Leadership Asheville Forum is a non-partisan community engagement organization. While historically an alumni association of the graduates of the community leadership programs at UNC Asheville — Leadership Asheville and Leadership Asheville Seniors — LAF is now an association open to anyone who wants to join us.

Our mission is to focus on critical issues of importance in Asheville and Buncombe County – to inform and educate, to listen and learn, and to bring light to the challenges we face. We offer public forums on issues critical to the well-being of the Asheville-Buncombe County and Western North Carolina community.

We provide opportunities for our members to network with other leaders in the community. We encourage LAF members to become active in the network of community leaders and organizations by offering a neutral and focused discussion of important issues, and by promoting camaraderie and networking.
