About this event

The Thucydides Trap and U.S.–Chinese Relations
Presented by Leadership Asheville Forum
The “Thucydides Trap” is the idea that when a rising power challenges an established one, conflict often follows. This talk will look at how that idea applies to today’s U.S.–China relationship, the tensions driving it, and what might be done to avoid a clash.
